About Infinite Baseball

Infinite Baseball is an imagined dreamscape — a perpetual, deterministic, never-ending simulated baseball broadcast.

The figures within it share names with real ballplayers, but they are not those people. Everything they feel, do, and become is invented by this simulation and shaped solely by their own deterministic experiences inside the Infinite Baseball universe. A figure here who is confident, or slumping, or carrying a grudge against a pitcher who owns him, is that way because of what happened to this imagined figure across these simulated games — never because of anything true, alleged, or implied about the real person who happens to share the name.

Enforced by design, not merely asserted

• Real, public facts only — never invented. Where the broadcast references a real attribute, it is a true value, cited as-is, and simply absent when no real data exists — never fabricated.
• Personality is emergent, not authored. Temperament, reputation, memories, and rivalries are a deterministic function of a figure's own simulated career — computed only from events that actually occurred here. Same seed, same life.
• The language model narrates; it never invents. The AI announcers describe what the simulation produced, grounded in real in-universe events — with no path to an unmoored biographical claim about a real person.
• Some voices are never generated at all. Real named organists and umpires get strictly factual, template-only lines.
